Skincare for every stage in life
A good skin care regime is essential for every age in your life, as is healthy eating and exercise. As your skin changes as you get older you need to master skincare techniques to meet the challenges.
Caring for skin in your 20s
Skin in your 20s will be wrinkle-free and smooth, without sagging. During these years adopt a lifestyle that will keep it that way for the long term. Develop a daily skincare ritual of cleansing, toning and moisturizing, and always take your make up off before you sleep. Exfoliate with a gentle scrub or us Gratiae’s Purifying Exfoliating Facial Cleanser or Renewing Facial Peeling Gel regularly to keep skin squeaky clean. Avoid harsh acid peels or microdermabrasion and make sure to slap on the sunscreen every morning.
Skin in your 30s
Your skin will still look young and vibrant with few lines or wrinkles. It still has plenty of elastin and collagen so it doesn’t need too much to make skin look fantastic. Keep on doing what you did in your 20s, and eat foods that will keep skin healthy including those incorporating essential fatty acids and protein.
Skin care for mature skin
As skin ages it doesn’t produce new cells at the same pace as before, and environmental and biological factors take their toll. It’s common to experience enlarged pores, and the effects of the sun start to show in the form of wrinkles, sunspots and freckles.
You can still have great skin though, especially with the advances in skin care products and minor medical procedures. You will need to consider changing to a richer moisturizer since skin will become drier and more sensitive. It’s still important to keep up the exfoliation and to use products that are specially formulated to address deeper wrinkles such as Gratiae’s ULTROX Facial Wrinkle Filler Cream.
